Gables Cottage is within a convenient stroll of village facilities and just four miles from Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Bach is a self-contained double glazed, cosy, garden room, with its own separate entrance and parking set discretely in half-acre gardens enjoying attractive views over the Warwickshire countryside.
The Accommodation
The fully self contained Bach (a name borrowed from New Zealand for a weekend cottage) comprises en-suite shower room accommodation arranged to include a sitting and dining area – plus – kitchenette. Externally, there is a patio with furniture and a brick built BBQ. A rear store provides convenient storage for bicycles and luggage.
   
The Bach facilities include tea and coffee making, flat screen digital TV and DVD, hair dryer, iron and a fully equipped kitchenette should you simply fancy ‘an evening in’.
We will be pleased to advise and assist with local information in order to make your visit a success.

Locality
The village is served by two pubs each offering home cooking and real ales, a shop and railway station (5 minutes to Stratford-upon-Avon and 55 minutes to Birmingham). An easy one hour walk along the Stratford canal delivers you into the heart of the town.
In close proximity is a good selection of country pubs and, within 10 minutes drive is Stratford-upon-Avon, with its wide range of shopping, tea rooms, restaurants, inns, river trips and town walking tours, not forgetting the Theatre and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust properties.
Again within 10 minutes drive, is the Roman market town of Alcester, or, within 15 minutes, is Henley-in-Arden each offering an alternative selection of leisure facilities.
The Guide Friday sightseeing tour, visiting all the Shakespeare properties, calls at Mary Arden’s House (Shakespeare’s mother) and Palmer’s Farm in the village where the open-top bus tour may be joined.
Further afield, but all conveniently within one hour’s drive, are the Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham, Warwick and Kenilworth Castles, Coventry Cathedral and the NEC.
Stratford-upon-Avon has many places of interest for the visitor: Stratford Leisure Centre (swimming pool and gym), Stratford Cinema, a number of golf clubs, boating on the River Avon, lovely walks along the banks of the Avon plus numerous shops in the town centre.
How to Find Us
From the M40 - take junction 15 (Warwick/Stratford-upon-Avon, direction Stratford (A46). At the third roundabout take the right towards Henley in Arden (A3400). After approximately 1 mile take the next left (Wilmcote).
From the centre of the village, at the Tee junction facing the Mary Arden Inn, take the road to the right.
This is Aston Cantlow Road. On your right hand side, pass the Mason’s Arms, Wilmcote club and six houses numbered 16 A to F set behind a lay-by.
Gables Cottage is the next property also on your right.
